I've seen it on other sites and think its a good idea to post the umpires daily. I'll post what I can find. If for some reason someone sees something is wrong or off please correct me ASAP.

They rotate clockwise 3B to HP, so yesterdays 1B ump will be todays home plate ump while yesterdays HP ump goes to third. Also, when a new series starts we wont be able to get the ump until closer to game time. Lets keep the chit chatting to a minimum fellas and have a clean umpire thread going.

good idea. fyi, some guys who are potentially up in the games that are unknown are Danley and L Barrett (strong over guys) and Joyce and Reyburn (under guys). that's what's kept me off of PIT/WAS under and TOR/OAK under - chance of getting stuck with Danley or Barrett.

for the first game of a series, umps are not factored into the totals (assignments generally publicly available about hour before first pitch). however, after the first game, ump assignments for rest of series are consistent (moving clockwise) and thus likely factored into totals.

Umps are posted anywhere from an hour to 20 mins before game time.

BUT other then the first game of a series we can follow the rotation.
