    Tom Freese - Mets

    Mets To Beat Sanchez, Fish

The Mets should make sure Anibal Sanchez doesn't join Johnny Vander Meer in the record books tonight in Florida.

Florida starter Anibal Sanchez figures to be a little flat here as he is off a no-hitter in his last start.

New York starter Dave Williams is in excellent KW form with a better than 6-to-1 strikeout to walk ratio in his last three starts. The Mets are 4-0 behind Williams this year.

The wrong team is favored here.

    Play: Mets

I think this game is a coinflip and therefore Im gonna pass on it...
Nevertheless this games means a lot more to the Marlins than it does to the Mets... plus Dave Williams numbers as a Met are greatly misleading imo... and Sanchez can pitch...
The Fish are the right side today at old Joe Robbie... (memory lane baby)

Tough game to call. A guy coming off a no hitter versus the top team in the league. Should be an interesting game to watch though.

florida does have more to play as in the wild card chase. the mets guess you never know. in a coin flip have to go with the more motivated team, in this case the marlins.
