    Oddsmakers giving way too much respect to JV given the Tigers' current form. He may have to win this by himself -- a possibility I suppose, but I'd rather roll with the more well-rounded team at the moment.

    At first glance, when you look at Verlander's numbers; you may think Verlander is impossible to beat. Verlander is 3-1 so far this season with 0.80 WHIP and 1.72 ERA. However, his GO/AO is 0.86. (0.88 this season)

    Different types if pitchers... they usually knock Verlander at least a little. I think they probably score 4-5 runs in this game.

    The wind is blowing out too at 18mph....I'm defnitely on yanks ml but the alt RL yanks at +210 is looking tempting too.
