For anyone on the NYY/KC game today. I don't buy this excuse from CC. H.Ramirez will most likely get beaten up by the Yankee bats, and I'm thinking Sabathia will probably not be at his best today.

Sabathia says heating pad was for warmth, not injury

High-priced New York Yankees' pitcher C.C. Sabathia said the heating pad television cameras caught being put around his waist on opening day was being used to keep his hands and mid-section warm and not treat an injury, the New York Daily News reported.

According to the Daily News, the heating pad is used regularly by Sabathia when he pitches in cold weather.

Sabathia first started using the pad in 2005 after he strained his abdominal muscle while warming up for his first spring training start. After spending the first two weeks of the season on the disabled list, Sabathia continued using the pad until the weather got warmer. He strained the oblique again on Opening Day in 2006, but he hasn't had any problems since, according to the report.

"He's had some issues in years past, so it's just preventative," Joe Girardi said. "He didn't use it in spring training because it was 80 degrees, but it's not going to be that way in April."

After getting roughed up yesterday a bit Im looking to get some back on the Cubs tonight. The cubs are looking to bounce back as well. After a blown save last night their ace returns to the mound off a nice first start.

    Booked:

1H Cubs -.5 EV (regular play)

CK,Will you be on this play as well?
"When the heavy vigorish is on the line there's nothing worse than to have a guy give a bad pitching performance. I make it a habit to go against ANY line that is over -150 and these numbers will support why I do it. Heavy vigorish is anything over -140 or -150, which is the mark I like to top off at if it can be helped:"Jake Peavy 0-6 as a -140 or more favorite

Fvkn closers. I swear. BJ Ryan takes a 5-1 lead into the 9th. Gets 2 outs. Starts trying to nibble and walks a couple. Gives up 3 runs after 2 were out and nobody on. There goes my under. Unbelievable.

Tim Lincecum is coming off a weak game 1 loss, and he should be seeing red here in start 2. Not only will he be looking to bounce back from a bad first start, but the Giants ace will be looking to stop a 2 game losing streak for his team at a short price. he has been dominant in his short career vs the padres with a .95/1.13 era whip over 8 starts. in 3 starts last year in sd, lincecum gave up 1er in 22ip. the giants are 7-1 in games he has started vs the padres. the padres are 3-6 in games where young has faced the giants. gimme the world class ace to right the ship for his team.

I wish I had that kind of discipline. I had so much out there tonight it was ridiculous. I was getting killed going into the late session. Then a big bet on the Phillies, a parlay on Tigers/Padres, a big bet on Padres R/L, a Yankees R/L (part of that chase we're doing), a Yankees/Blazers M/L parlay, and a TWolves/Bulls/Blazers M/L parlay..... all hit. Changed the whole day for me to say the least. From down 25% to up 25% in 2 hours.

Anyway, I've already locked in SF -108 -- 3 units
