Does Ken Griffey Jr. injury kill the Reds in the wild card race ?

I feel the Reds were a sinking ship long before this injury to Griffey, the one thing we have seen over the years is that the Reds do seem to play better baseball without Griffey in the lineup though.

Does this officially eliminate the Reds from any type of wild card chances?

It might not officially eliminate them, but it sure doesn't help. Their biggest problem has been the revolving door in the bullpen and their starting pitcher du jour of late.

I think the Reds are done. They were done before he got hurt. They have pitching problems, they cant seem to fix. This just adds on to all the problems they are having.

The injury won't kill them because that recent road trip already did the trick.
