New York Mets (115)

We get a friendly ump behind the bump in Ted Barrett whose seen the home team cash in 19 of the 28 games he's called balls and strikes this year.

Roll with the best team in the NL at home as a dog no less! We faded John Smoltz his last time out and the Giants crushed him to the tune of six hits and seven earned runs in only five innings of work. This really looks to be as good a spot as any to fade him once again.

The Mets are by far the best the NL has to offer. They already lost the first game of this series two nights ago to their most hated rival in the East, and will do whatever necessary to get over the top tonight. Even if Smoltz is coming off a bad outing. Dave Williams has won each of his only two starts in Shea, and looked pretty good in doing so. He's worked a total of 12 innings, gave up 13 hits, five earned runs,a and struck out six while walking one.

Not to bad by my count, and he's coming off his best start as Met since putting on the orange and blue going seven innings in Coors and holding the Rockies to three runs on nine hits.
