Two new road series start on Tuesday: playing against Pittsburgh (Dodgers) and against Tampa Bay (Detroit). So there are two Game A's and three Game B's on tonight's card.
We're having to work a little harder than we're accustomed for the W's, but things will improve. One new series starts on Thursday and we're doubling up — playing against Cincinnati on the road series and with Washington on the home series.
Year to date:
Road system: 5-0 with four wins coming in either Game A, B or C
Home system: 6-0 with five wins coming in either Game A, B or C
New series that start Friday:
Away system:
Miami (playing against Houston)
Minnesota (playing against Texas)
Kansas City (playing against Cleveland) **
Toronto (playing against Baltimore)
Seattle (playing against Oakland) **
Home system:
NY Yankees
Boston
KC and Seattle are played at twice the regular amount because both systems are in effect.
It's been a brutal week. Cleveland took the road chase to a Game E before finally losing and Texas gave the road system its first loss of the year. Kansas City also gave the home system its first loss of the year.
For Thursday, 4/18, we're playing against Atlanta on the road system and with San Diego and Detroit on the home system.
