Morales and the rest of the Angel bats are starting to wake up. Angels are notoriously a streaky team. Wouldn't be shocked if when they started hitting ran off 7-8 wins by decent sized margins in a row.

good point, the Angels bats have looked pretty good the last 3 games, and given that they have to listen to a lot of talk about being overpaid/overrated lately, you can see them going on a streak and shutting people up soon. so much talent relative to the results so far.

weird line movement on DET/KC total at Pinny. maybe there will be some lineup surprises with 2 lefty starters. whatever, hard not to like Tigers lineup against Chen. at first glance, it looks as if Chen has some decent numbers against Detroit (like .246 BA), but then you realize that that includes Inge being 1-23 (the most ABs of any Tiger vs Chen, and he likely won't be in the lineup tonight) and Tigers still have .500 slug % and .846 OPS vs Chen. if you take out Inge's numbers, the rest of the Tigers are .290/.382/.598/.980 vs Chen.

interesting tidbit i saw on twitter: Pirates are first MLB team since 1988 to not score or allow over 5 runs in first 10 games of a season.

Trying to find an edge to bet this one because I dont want to lay the -147 juice. I'm thinking Blue Jays -.5 First Five Innings at -105.

That's exactly what I'm going to do. I'm gonna think about this for a while, but thats what I've settled on. I'd be sick if i put that first five inning bet in and the score was like 2-2 and i lost.

Yeah, he has a healthy strike zone and last year had heavy under results (one year does not an under ump make though) . Nothing amiss regarding home field bias.

hey buck. if i went with a side in that game, it would be Rays. Jays struggle against lefties, and Price has good history vs Jays, but Price's first two starts have me a little concerned. lean under/FF under but passing.

like Phils a lot, will be on them.
