FanDuel has just launched the 2012 Daily Fantasy Baseball Championship. The total prize pool is $250,000 ($100,000 to the winner) and each of the 15 finalists will win a free trip for two to Las Vegas for the finals.

FanDuel offers one day fantasy sports contests, ranging from $1 to $535 and from head to head contests up to large field tournaments. Deposits can be made by Paypal or CC and withdrawals by Paypal or check.

For the Daily Fantasy Baseball Championship:
-There will be a qualifying tournament each Friday.
-Pick the best lineup within the salary cap and you win 1 of the 15 seats in the finals.
-$3,000+ in runner up prizes will be awarded each week.
-Each entry costs $10 and you enter as many times as you want.
-A total of $200,000 will be awarded at the finals, with the winner getting $100,000.
-All 15 finalists will win free trips to the finals at Lagasse's Stadium at the Palazzo in Vegas.

Bumping this as baseball season approaches. Currently about 135 people entered to the first DFBC qualifier (which is on Friday, April 6th. I'd estimate that we'll end up with about 2,000 total.
