    Wake Up Call in Houston

It looks like the Astros have decided they do want to play some extra games this year. This is how I see things shaking out in the vaunted NL...

    New York Mets
    St. Louis Cardinals
    Los Angeles Dodgers
    Houston Astros

Hope you're right, cap. I'm not really sold yet on them pulling off a turnaround three straight years, partly because of the odds but mostly because the playoff race is absolutely nuts right across the MLB. The Mets are the only sure thing right now, in my opinion. All of these teams within a few games of .500 in the NL will keep things exciting for at least the next 3-4 weeks, if not longer. Nobody seems to want to pull away from the crowd at all.

What an enigmatic and silly team the Astros have been, huh?

I would say the Astros have the best chance of winning the NL wild card.
And once they´re in the playoffs, watch out.
This team has the best starting pitching in Baseball, specially if Pettite keeps pitching like he has lately.
Sure the bullpen needs some polishing and they could use another bat but who wouldnt?
Sure wouldnt want to face this team in a 7 game series.
Cheers Willie Bee, your stros are back!!
