Bad Trade, unless he becomes dominant again...
Dude, his September was rock solid.
All five September starts were deemed 'quality starts'

Went 3-2 in those September starts, lost 3-1 to SF, and 3-2 to 'Zona, both on the road.
In those two losses he went pitch for pitch with Lincecum and Hudson, or else he would have been 5-0.
He was a beast in his last five starts of the year, went 7 full four times, went 8 and 2/3 the other start.
    Struck out 8,8,8,9 and 9.
When other pitchers were thinking Aruba vacations, Latos was tearing it up

Forget the 9-14 record, Latos was involved in some real tough match ups all year.
Look at the WH/IP ratio 1.18 (rock solid)
Look at the ERA (3.47) rock solid once again.

He's 24, he strikes out 8 per game, and totally got his shit together after the All Star Break.

Dude has so much more upside than downside.

Great deal, MAJOR upgrade from that gas can, garbage throwing Volquez

    Kyle Blanks is garbage.
    Will never hit .250

Will Venable has a little pop, but he's nothing but a spot starter in the OF

I kind of like Headley a little, but I need more than ten taters from my third baseman

Hundley can help behind the plate some.

Rizzo was a AAA beast with Tuscon, he's the one to keep an eye on.
Did shit in his debut last year, but give him time.
    Guy has power to spare

It's official Reds trade Wood. Cubs and Reds agree in principle to trade sending Sean Marshall to cinci for lefty Travis Wood and 2 minor leaguers.
