I saw Ponson leaving the Cards, didnt think that he would end up in pistripes.
The sad part is I think this is a good move for the yanks.
They need someone to eat some innings in that rotation.
By the way, whats the update on Pavano?

Pavano and Dotel would both be huge. I hate to say it, but this pretty much signals Toronto or Boston wins the east.

I'm not saying he's going to have an ERA under 2.00, but he's a lot better than anyone in that pen except Mo, Farnsworth, and Proctor.

He's only been there half a season. A lot better pitchers than KF have come to NY and struggled for a year, and been good after that.

The Yanks took a chance on Tim Redding last year...you cant get a bigger reach then that guy. After that move nothing they do will surpride me. Redding was a guy who couldnt handle the pressure in Houston....and the yanks thought he could pitch in that pressurecooker?

the yankees did take a bigger reach than redding last year though. they took a shot with Al Lieter.

True, but at least Leiter beat the Red Sox. Redding lost 17-1 against Boston.
