    Have to give Holland credit

He's in a damn zone. I never figured this goofball could come up this big in such a key spot.

    Kudos.

    Derhol looked sharp.

Seems like the guy is either CGSO or bust for the year.

Glad he came through in this spot.

Yeah...guy is not that consistent, but when he has his stuff, he's really good. He's been like that ever since he came into the league a few years ago.

What game were you guys watching?
Balls were inside 6+ inches all nite... called STRIKES for Holland. And plenty that were a little outside or low.
Then the Cards had to swing at bad pitches.
MLB didnt want it to go 3-1.

Same strike zone all night - for both sides.

Big Cards fan? Or just lost money?

I think that crowd for the Rangers is the 10th man, every strike felt like they had just scored a run. Awesome atmosphere for playoff baseball.

Watch the game again. Holland's inside pitches were not even border line-close. The Fox strike zone rectangle is not infallible, but it was so obvious. And the polite Cardinals were ALL OVER the plate ump, who was apparently also making up for the bad call at first base the night before. How convenient.
Before the game the announcers even said Holland HAD to pitch inside. Here it comes!
Then all Holland's 6 inch inside pitches were called strikes. Worst case scenario for a hitter, if the ump calls outside pitches or low or high, not as bad.
Cards got scammed. They had to swing at bad pitches, made it even worse.
Knowledgeable people know it was a rigged deck.
Holland was in the right place at the right time, if it was the night before he would have been out in 3 innings. MLB sold out the integrity of the game to prevent it from going 3-1 and the public losing interest since their are no goddam east coast teams (sickening Boston, Mets, Yanks, or Philly).
They made MILLIONS of dollars for the sponsors, it is now 2-2, WOW it is a BIG game tonight and then whoever wins the next one is still HUGE.
    Think.

    It doesn't work that way.
DOZENS of extreme bad calls are OK, its just that the other guy should have followed suit?
Before the game, FOX made a major issue, HOLLAND had to pitch inside to prevent what happened Saturday night from happening again.
Holland did it to the extreme, 6 inches inside, the pitches were called strikes. Holland knew.
It was not Jacksons game plan.
MLB did not want a boring 3-1, now its 2-2, HUGE game, with another HUGE game to follow.
Have to make up for the fact that there are no (sickening) big market east coast teams in the World Series.
Sponsors make money on this, big time. HUGE difference.

    Nice try.
Before they were told to put a stop to it, Fox showed numerous pitches that were WAY inside 3-6" that were called strikes against the Cardinals, much, much more than you show with this sham.
Media people are all over it, though many are told to keep their mouth shut.
3-1 is bad, 2-2 creates interest, gets more viewers, makes game 5 a HUGE game, game 6 another HUGE game, assures that they play a 6th game, makes $$$ for sponsors and MLB. Think.
What, this never happened in the NBA?
    Nice LIE.

Of course No Coincidences gives him credit when he bets on the Rangers. IF he had an awful game, he would create the same thread title and whine about him.

How many whining threads do you create everyday?
