Both of these pitchers are coming into this game with ears pinned back. Verlander is throwing for his teams life while Wilson is smelling the World Series. I'm looking for a gem from Verlander. He's had a couple of mediocre starts in the postseason, but I'll take him on the mound any day with the series on the line at home. On the other hand Wilson is throwing to a depleted, injury ridden Tiger offense. Delmon Young is obviously not 100%, and they're missing their historically hot postseason hitter in Maggs. Tigers haven't scored more than three points in the whole series because of these holes in the lineup
1. tigers play baseball and in baseball, you score runs, not points.
2. rangers batts + verlander's pressure = runs OR
3. tigers @ home + Wilson pressure = runs
