    Wakefield trying for 200 (again)

Red Sox could see returns of Kevin Youkilis and J.D. Drew
tonight, no word yet, however, on the lineup.

This could be the night Tim Wakefield logs 200 in front of
a Red Sox fanbase which is aching for reassurance.

-138 is a cheap line, considering Sox domination of Jays
at Fenway, and habitual hitting success when facing Morrow.

Just take the over so you don't have to worry about Wakefield sucking. Also, Morrow has been hit pretty hard recently.

    The over is the play

Hopefully the Sox bats "wake' up for Wake. Stop letting this mini-milestone linger any longer.

I agree with the over in this game. Morrow has been lit up, and for the Sox to keep their now slim 3 game lead in the WC, they MUST score runs as the pitching is non-existant. I cannot count on Wakefield to shut down the Jays, so I'd play the Over or no play for me.

BOL on your Sox pick. Sure hope they win for ya

wakefield is fat and 45 years old. getting a little action for him means his prune juice is working. unfortunately for morrow is that he is not gonna make it tonight i'm sorry (as a matter of fact he sucks actually), it is too bad for him in this spot. the red sox will get wakefield his 200th win tonight and finally bury this so they can move on to more important things.

According to Robert Ferringo from Doc's Sports, Wakefield already got his 200th win!! What a joke this Ferringo guy is!!

Here's what he posted on his picks page -

    1.5-Unit Play. Take #970 Boston (-140) over Toronto (7 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 13)
This game just kind of goes with my general theme for today: let's take the good teams over the pathetic ones. The Red Sox are suddenly in a fight for their playoff spot. Tim Wakefield finally got over the hump to get that 200th win and now I think he can just go out and do his thing. This guy has come through in a lot of big spots for the Sox in recent years and I think he has another ace up his sleeve here.

Morrow can't keep the ball in the ballpark, especially Fenway. doesn't know how to pitch around guys and pick battles. Wakefield is an old fat turd with a 75mph heater. but he's smart. big play for me on Sox. and even bigger follows with Wed matinee, once again will be minimal juice with Toronto edge in pitching and Blue Jays with one foot in plane with Thursday off.

tomorrow's game will include 2pt conversions...Lackey of course is miserable and Romero's #s vs Boston and in Fenway are WORSE. Red Sox NEED these two games they will win both slugfests. these are games you shouldn't check in 5th inning because score will change 5 more times. i'm going to try and avoid the ticker at the gym.
