Trying to verify if it was because of pitching changes? I am unable to see the reason.

On my book (5Dimes), in the props section you can bet on total bases matchups between similar hitters. Only hits count towards total bases. A single is one base, a double is 2 bases, triple 3 bases, home run is 4 bases. If the batter gets a hit and then advances a base later (by way of error, stolen base, someone else getting a hit, etc), those subsequent bases don't count in the total bases matchup.

And yes, I had Paulino as the Royals starting pitcher for my bets. Your bet did indeed get cancelled because Adcock did not start.
