    Too many stats

As I was gazing at a computer screen full of stats my dad passed by and said I needed to be careful of stat overload. Can you have too many stats and if so which ones are basically useless? He was saying in the past it was all about a teams emotional state at the time you were thinking of betting them. Any thoughts?
