Best value I see here is the Blue Jays at 12-to-1. They have a team capable of taking second in the AL East if they play well and one of the Big 2 stumbles. A big if, perhaps, but I like Toronto more for AL Wildcard right now than the Tigers at 13/2, Indians at 17/2 and anyone in the AL West. If you like the Angels rebounding to take the AL West, then their 18/1 AL Pennant numbers looks nice. The A's look overpriced to me at 15/2.

Definitely seen as a 2-horse race here between the Cards and Mets. Astros, Braves, Dodgers and Phillies serving as also-rans. The best value on the old 'longshots' might be the D-Backs and Padres. It's very tight in NL West, and both the Friars and Snakes have a legit shot at that division.

Most overpriced teams here for me are Houston and San Francisco.

I'll stick with two of my previous value picks here and mention the Padres and Blue Jays first. The thing to watch for in the next few weeks is which one of the contenders might add a player now instead of waiting. The Yankees have so little to deal from the farm, but I could see either the Cards, Mets or Red Sox somehow pulling something off to make their price today look very nice in the end.
