Chi Sox team total currently @ 4.5 even money @ Pinny.

My play is the over on this wager. Jason Hammel has really shown an increased fly ball bias in his last 5 starts. A hot and breezy night at Coors is not the recipe for success for a guy who can't induce ground balls.

Hammel has really shown poor command as well of late having walked more than he has struck out. Tonight's lineup for the Sox has had limited views against Hammel and features 7 right handed hitters. Normally I would look for much more of a left handed lineup bias but Hammel this year has shown far worse splits against righties.

vs. Left 173 22 41 5 2 3 18 26 0 25 5 1 .237 .335 .341 .676
vs. Right 182 27 53 9 2 5 23 10 3 26 5 3 .291 .335 .445 .780

His home road splits also support my play

Home 4.71 3 5 0 0 8 8 0 49.2 52 29 26 6 21 29 .275
Away 3.48 1 2 0 0 7 7 0 44.0 42 20 17 2 15 22 .253

The Sox are not for the faint of heart on any over play. They have better numbers against righties if that is any consolation.

Dunn sits tonight (rest) in an NL park. That poor guy needs a rest in my mind. What is the difference between a Dunn whiff and a Gavin Floyd whiff other than a few million bucks??

I think big Paul and Carlos Quentin may reach the seats for me with baserunners on.

Good Luck tonight lads
