    Florida/South Carolina Game 1

    Florida and South Carolina square off tonight in game 1 of the college world series finals. These two SEC rivals are pretty much dead even this year when it comes to talent. They finish tied with the same conference record @ 22-8. The Cocks took 2 of 3 from the Gators in Gainesville in late March. Those were the only meetings this year between the 2 teams. Florida is sending their ace, Hudson Randall, to the mound while SC sends out their #2 starter, Forrest Koumas. These two faced off in Gainesville with Randall pitching a 5 hitter and Florida winning 2-1. Florida has the better offense, but this CWS has come down to pitching and defense, which the Cocks have the edge at. I'm going with the defending champs in a game 1 upset.
