Cards obp has fallen so much the last month, still looks good for season but that is because they were all over the bases the 1st 2 months. Hard to trust either pitcher but Westbrook is capable of really holding a struggling team down when his sinker is popping, ground balls all night. Even tho we have seen all the starters step up and go deep this week Jake is the one i never trust to get thru 6. Morrow is tough for me to figure but think is he right he can get a lot of stl lineup out. bullpens a huge concern for both.

Sd-105. Lowe has not been sharp at all. Gotta like sd to carry a little uncle mo back home after taking 2 in Bos. Ludwig used to eat Lowe up when he was a Cardinal and continued it earlier this season. Stauffer has been sharp as of late.

Him and Wolf have both been solid lately. Not sure what to think about mil right now but i know they rock solid at home and willing to give them a pass for losing 2 of 3 to tb, no crime in that tampa road warriors. Brew Crew have a lot of HRs in not a ton of abs against Baker. dont think im looking to play against mil at home to often, even wit the twinks.

I think at this point it getting obvious that Cards starters have takin it upon themselves to try and stay afloat till some of their offensive pieces get back, every one went deep and competed hard against phi, Westbrook can be a pain in the ass not going deep in a lot of games he looks fine then the 6th rolls around and he gets touched up but im pretty sure he has that same mental toughness that most Duncan's staffs have and what Carp exudes.

Freeze is coming real soon and Craig not to far behind him. When they are back Albert being out wont be such a big deal, but atm no point overreacting to tonight's performance and wanting to take over against the Jays. What we have is two offenses that have been free falling for a minute now and one gm prob isnt gonna change that to much.

Westbrook sinker could really frustrate a team that is anxious to start hitting again and cause a ton of groundouts, hopefully Theriot can field them and maybe turn a dp if needed for a change, i dont recall to many errors this last series besides Colby's ignorant diving attempt at a single tonight but hopefully that just means he knows he been lazy in the field and understands what has to b done right now so he took a ill advised shot at taking away a 2 out hit, can live with that i guess.

Morrow certainly has the stuff to handle anyone and for sure the other guys in stl lineup atm, but he is hard to trust. Maybe all those 0-2 strikes that got hammered against Bos taught him something cause he sure did look good in cincy, he may have started cincy offensive slump.

Cards pen i believe is starting to get worked out a little, havnt really seen it in action as of yet though, and im sure they will make a move for a vet or 2 past their heyday then Duncan will get him drinking the kool-aid but that isnt relevant today. This almost assures that Boggs has to be back in Tony's good graces (not sure wtf he did in the 1st place he got a plus arm and was pitching well imho) and will be fine when givin the opportunity, Motte is great to get thru less accomplished hitters with his stare down and scary fastball just has to locate. Do think Lynn can be at least serviceable in Bautista's old role (cant be worse) and should be much better, proved he could handle the stage coming in and making a few starts earlier. Also brought a lefty up from minors that has been having success in AAA, doubt Larussa will use him as he loves his veterans, prob just up to let them know they could be cut next, when Tallot came in against phi tonight it felt like a audition. Still Tallot and Miller have been beyond bad, lefty specialist that are both yielding obp of over .400 for quite a while. . Good news is tor doesnt sport many lefties so prob solved for now.

I wanna say Morrow's stuff wins a low scoring affair but the play is UNDER 8. i think.
