Whats everyone leaning for this game.. Seattle is hot right now and pineda is one of the best pitchers pitching this year. Hard 2 go against seattle when chicago white sox are 5-5 last 10 games, lost 2 in a row.. and have a winless pitcher trying to get its first win. John danks is 0-8 with a 5.25 era. I understand hes due for a win but against a hot team, AND a hot pitcher? seattle or nothing for me expecially with that price

I agree with Rnunez91, The Mariners are playing better baseball of late PLUS they send a very talented young right hander to the mound in Michael Pineda. Facing a winless John Danks, i'd say you would be crazy to pick him to win. For this matchup you gotta roll the dice on Seattle and hope they can rough Danks up like he has been all year. Pineda will keep them in the game, but the Mariner bats will have work to do. The line is dead even right now @1.91, Take the hot Seattle Mariners.

The Mariners have lost eight consecutive games and 12 of 13 overall at U.S. Cellular Field so this may be the "Perfect Storm" that Danks needs to break out of his winless streak.

No he's saying they look good on paper but that doesnt translate onto the field. A smart bettor goes SEA, a lucky one goes CWS. Im second guessing my SEA pick with these numbers, some teams just cant beat others on the road.

White sox bullpen was like a garbage first of season. Nowadays bullpen is solid but hitters are cold.Guys remember the first tigers match, 3 batters walked in first inning but white sox hitters made only one run (with groundball) also they could not make a run 5. inning when bases loaded and nobody out...there were a lot of opportunities and I belive that even Padres hitters would make 10 runs at least. (meanwhile be careful about Oliver's next match and fade him!)
Actually I like this guys (besides Dunn, can't hit,can't catch easy flyballs and makes a lot of errors), but they are not so hot nowadays. Also Danks is the worst SP for this season.

Have to go with Seattle tonight, Pineda is solid, Danks has been stinking it up. Yes, he has a good record vs Seattle, but those stats can play with your head. Sometimes they hold up, but more often, the hot team with hot pitcher is going to win. Winning 3 out of 4 vs Rays is no joke, Rays are not a crappy team and Seattle really have been playing well.

Mariners are 5-2 in that 7 game span, scoring 7 or more runs in 3 of their last 4 games... Seattle hits better on the road and Pineda is a little better at home, but not by a huge amount. Chicago has actually been better on the road this season than at home.

How is Danks record from last season against Seattle more relevant than his current season performance? He hasn't been the same pitcher this year...
