    1st Inning Stats and Betting

This is no System... but for everyone that must use one, its a "Knowledge of Baseball and Stats: System"

Im making this as an alternative to everyone who has ever lost their Bankroll because of "Daba's System" of using Site odds to determine what you play, and Labby/Martingale system.

Espn. all you have to do is go to each pitcher, click game log, and open every game to see the who scored/who didnt.

Yeah, Im more Worried about pitchers stats.. I know Batting can control a 1st inning just as well as the pitcher but when you have guys like Lincecum, who has allowed 1 1st inning run. its easier to track. but Thanks though, maybe I can use them together in the future.

This is really great info. If you take the top combined 1 st inning pitchers and filter it using RoadDog's info (adding the average runs scored in the 1st inning and they must add up to UNDER 1 run), the games went 5-2. T2483, if you supply the pitcher info each day I'll calculate the teams whose average runs combined add up to less than 1 run. One day does not make a season, but it's worth looking at for a few weeks.

Actually, based on looking at the starters and the average first inning scoring, the Boston/Cubs game was another winner if you played No 1st inning score.

If the system is any indication of the first day it could be pretty useful

Timmah, Yes, I only used games where both teams had at least a 60% ratio the same way (no or yes). For example Tigers Porcello 7-0 No (over 60% that qualified) but Pirates Maholm 4-5 No (under 60% didn't qualify) So that game was a no play for me. Thanks again for this info. DD

OK, Makes sense, although that game did hit no. I was using an over 65% total... like 11-5 above (about 69%), its all effective but I would like to limit my plays.

For monitoring purposes I am going to continue to post as I do but feel free to counter it with your own. it would no doubt pay off in the long run.

I just use stats and Baseball knowledge. mostly stats.. but I hate the thought of calling it a system.

I will Color Code them and Capitalize them (GREEN is the Play) (RED is not the play)

I said it from the start last year, I'd seen handfuls of 6/7 and a few 10-12 streaks of losses in 2 years on the YES's and that is why i would never chase, but it went on deaf ears over there, oh well
