San Francisco has a better road record than the Cubbies have at home. It's all of nothing with the Cubs offense, ranked 21st in runs scored: Only the Atlanta Braves had fewer stolen bases than the Chicago Cubs (7) in the major leagues. Doug Davis will be another in a long line of over-age lefties trying their luck with the Cubs in this one, his first start of the season. He is a soft thrower with below average stuff for a park like Wrigley Field. The Giants have been playing well, taking over first place, and have a good starter in Ryan Vogelsong (2-0, 3.05 ERA). Play the Giants.
Got to go with the Cardnials on Sunday with Carpenter on the mound. Chris hasn't pitched all that well this year and with his team having lost 2 in a row to the Reds I see the Cardnials winning this game. More importantly, the value at -120 is good value........ TAKE THE CARDS!!
