    Cross country travel...

How big of a factor is this? Anyone have any stats?

Boston travels cross country to Oakland. Yesterday was a day game so they got an early start, but how big of an effect do you guys think it will have?

I'm sure there are stats on this kind of thing, particularly for teams playing the first game of a series after a long trip. I suspect the stats become less meaningful the longer a team is in the same time zone.

Definitely! 2684 miles is a longggg trip. Plus, playing at 10pm in Oakland is 1am in Boston.

I dont think a team like the BoSox will be affected.

It loaded with veterans who have done his for 5+ years.
