I've found myself feeling like if things are too obvious they probably won't happen. That was my mindset last Hughes game though, which resulted in the over being covered by like the 3rd inning.
Fact is Hughes is throwing batting practice up to the plate. His velocity is well down and he doesn't have the secondary pitches to compensate. Whenever he pitches, the Yankees have no business being the favorite by any margin until he shows he can pitch well IMO. Also, the over seems like a fairly solid play too, since the Yankees can hit.
Thoughts? Anyone have the balls to be betting the Yankees with Hughes and his 88 MPH fastball
