    sawx - 153

this has to be a play for me, and it will be a big one. The red sox lineup is way too good to hold down for a second straight game and beckett will pitch with purpose after seeing his comrades get slapped around. I figured this line would be at at least -180 and i feel as though the sox aren't getting much love right now.

don't be afraid blackeye, the sox win this one in a bloodbath. The indians lineup is very soft and i really am feeling a gem from beckett. 9-3 sox.

Tomlin is a younger, more Indian version of Beckett

you wouldn't know that his mother is actress Lilly

has Boston even won a game yet?

red sox were swept in arlington.
and the rangers are not that good!
but I believe the red sox will find their bats tomorrow...
and beckett can pitch an inspired game when the chips are down.
of course, I'm already invested, so I'm going to shut the f@#k up now!
good luck all around! good karma all around! crush the book, y'all. see y'all tomorrow...

Pulling stats out of your ass again? The 1998 Yankees were 0-3, outscored 21-6 in those games... finished 114-48, won the WS, and are argued as one of the greatest teams in recent memory...

    Unless your post was sarcasm?

it's rare, only happened once in last 13 years

and they'll be 0-4 after Lilly Tomlin's bloodline beats them

that guy's a tool,he obviously doesn't follow baseball. They play 162 games for a reason, so that only the best and most consistent teams make the playoffs. And blackeye the rangers are unbelievably good, by far the best in the division and top 3 or 4 in the east. I am confident in the sox tomorrow, I'll be betting around 120 on them. (maybe even the RL)

if Tex is so good, then why was Boston favored to win those games?

odds of getting swept 3 games as a fave is slim to none

look at what happened after Texas got swept at home by Baltimore last year....they ended up losing the WS because of that

so the rangers made it to the world series last year after being swept by baltimore, BUT they lost to the giants because they were swept by baltimore? serious question, are you handicapped? Ask any mlb fan if they're shocked the rangers won that series and they'll say no. and sweeping only involved winning one more.. it's not a big deal

A big play on a winless road team laying -153?

BTW, Tomlin gave up 3 runs or less in five of his last six starts last year.

my poasts were a test to see if it's worth my time to hold a bball discussion with you

so far you've demonstated a limited, sub-adequate knowledge of The Game from a betting standpoint

next time you're in Vegas I'd like to book your action

i bet he didn't face a lineup like this though. consider it a chase system bet, and I already got the first 3 games for free.. and i will personally guarantee they don't lose these next 3 to cleveland.

and whippit I'm not going to take anyone who spells like a second grader seriously..

if my baseball knowledge is sub adequate than yours must be sub retard.

    no coincidence:
I know what you mean, but I'm already booked.
consider the following excerpt from espn.com

The Indians will send Josh Tomlin to the mound for the series opener. Cleveland summoned the right-hander to make his major league debut last July, and he wound up going 6-4 with a 4.56 ERA in 12 starts.
Tomlin's first loss came at Boston on Aug. 5, when he allowed four runs in seven innings of a 6-2 defeat.

the red sox line up on august 5 last year was patchwork catch as catch can at best...
tomorrow we're going to see an extremely motivated high powered boston batting order...
and I will probably double down on the run line, too... for one unit, you know?
I anticipate something like red sox -1.5 @ +130 risk $100 win $130 and booyah!
beantown bombers back on track... good luck, bros! stacking chips!

I don't see Beckett doing anything of note this season. The Sox completely wasted their money by extending him. I'm on the Sox for this game, but I think it's a slug-fest. I've got to think that Beckett will probably go between 5 and 6 innings and give up 5 runs today. The Sox are paying #2 money for no better than a #4 starter.
