The Orioles are a team to bet on as long as they continue to get good odds
Last year after Showalter took over the Orioles were a very strong team. I think that continues into the first 50 gmes of this year before other teams figure them out a bit. You will continue to get good odds on them for awhile especially on the road in bigger named teams venues. For me they might become an auto play on the RRL on the road and RL at home. Keep a close eye on this team. They are being noticed quickly by bookmakers.

I was thinking the same thing but I'm pretty sure the O's will be able to score a few runs on Porcello and that Tigers' bullpen. The price looks dead on this game especially since its the O's home opener aswell and the Tigers just came off a tough opening series against the Yankees.
Take orioles RL on monday. Porcello will get hit hard. +165 is good value

That DET vs Arrieta sample is worthless. Detroit couldn't hit Phil Hughes last year, and look what happened yesterday...
I don't think we're going to find value in the O's for much longer. They were hot to end last season and hot to begin this one - the oddsmakers are all over it.

line movement in baseball isn't the same as line movement in football or basketball. baseball is a game that any team can win on any day. it just takes a very good outing by a sub par pitcher and the underdog will win it. Or a very bad day from the better pitcher will also produce conflicting results. Baseball is just a difficult sport to bet on, much like hockey. I personally think football is the easiest sport to pick winners, but that's just me.

Baltimore is 8-2 in last 10 home openers. That means they have played well in the opener with crappy teams over the last 10 years. I'm on the Orioles today.
lakerboy..great advise..ill be honest, im on DET for several reasons, but BALTY is definitely a team to always look out for specially being undervalued...
Imma PM you to ask several questions and advise...but great post...i have them as one of those teams in my radar to look at on the road...at home as faves, not so much...
