    Jazz 2011 MLB thread

I'll be posting MLB plays in unit sizes between 1-3. Furthermore, my wagers will be based on a $4,000 bank roll. For those with bankrolls smaller or larger than what I'm going by-I'll not only be referencing unit size, but I'll also state how big of a wager each game is in terms of % as it pertains to my bankroll size. That way you can go percentage size for each game instead of unit size, a technique I learned from handicapper Maxlock. I'll be posting and keeping detailed records of my unit size growth.

I'm confident this will be a great MLB investing season. For money management techniques I suggest reading this article:

    http://www.sportsbookreview.com/forum/baseball-h...k-loading.html

P.S. I'll be using lines off of sportsbook.com as a reference point

I'm looking forward to sharing info/picks/thoughts. I have two plays already capped and ready to post, but I'm just waiting for some more books to release their odds. Then I'll post the plays with the unit size.

I've done pretty good in the past, but this is the first year where I'm documenting from the start. NFL is actually my area of expertise. Absolutely kill it, I'm hoping for similar results in MLB.

3/31/11 Opening Day: odds off sportsbook.com as of 3/30 5:00 pm eastern

    1) Washington (ML +125) over Atlanta
-Risk 1.5 units to win 1.88=Risking 150 to win 188=Risking 3.8% of initial bankroll (which stands at 4000)

    2) Los Angels Angels (Run Line +115) over Kansas City

-Risk 1.5 units to win 1.73=Risking 150 to win 173=Risking 3.9% of bankroll (which stands at 3800)

Hopefully all these "% of initial bankrolls" isn't confusing anyone. If you have any questions just let me know, I'll be happy to explain what I'm doing here or better yet just read Maxlocks' article on from the first post. Percentage of bankroll is basically a reference point for those with bankroll that are not my size.

    BOL for Thursday!!

    YTD: 0-0- 0 Units..3 Units Risked to win 3.61

My bad, I was writing these figures in past 3am, tired as hell. Correction made to A's RL +110 not ML and for the Rangers I was accidentally looking at Red Sox +105, when it was suppose to be Rangers ML -115. Corrections made.

Got clipped pretty good today. Starting pitching was strong for my teams for the most part, but the relief and hitting just weren't there.

I'll get it back tomorrow, take that to the bank. I'll post the 4 plays 9 am eastern Sunday.

    YTD: 5-8: -6.83 Units

What is the point is risking different amounts for different games? Why not just bet the 200 every single time? You bet three on Tampa bay, and two most everywhere else except the 4 on the Parlay. Just wondering??

I liked Tampa quite a bit in that game thus giving it 3 units. Never thought Tillman would have the game he did, nothing in his track record pointed to such a great outing.
