Nishikori is playing well but I think the temperature dropping is a huge advantage for Djokavic, he had many chances to dominate Millman just couldn't finish break points early.

Historically nishikori hates the heat.... Also Nishikori beat a better Djokovic here back in 2014

Sharp post. Pick ass, wipe nose, brow swipe, brush shoulder. Any other combination and Delpo advances.

Also on potro- I like the way he’s playing - joker owns nishikori don’t waste money lol

All the tennis heavyweights in this thread and not one mention of Delpo’s backhand? This match boils down to Nadal forcing the big argentine to use it. If he trades forehands all match he is doomed.

The point is Joker is the much better player, if you there isn't variance Niskikori has no chance. Joker has looked much less comfortable in the heat than Nishikori.

We're all aware Del Potro doesn't have a great back hand, its been that way for 5 years.

he went around the backhand to crush forehands at wimby vs rafa and it pushed it 5 sets, so DP knows how to cover this weakness for a while

I don't think Nadal is in his best form and Del Potro loves playing in New York. I think at the plus price there is value here.

No the question is can Rafa force it at his current fitness level. I’m not sure he can.

I’m surprised you fired early. This one has +500 closer written all over it. Especially once all the degens need a chase play when the Nadal or Delpo play loses. Fwiw I like it at 5:1 or better, Kei’s tactics have been beautiful so far. He has a chance to frustrate Djoker.

I like it. Basically home court advantage for him out in Flushing. I use to live in Queens and would go to US Open and I would auto bet every Asian during qualifying and came out ahead every year except for 1.

Delpo stuck to script and gave us a nice scalp opportunity after first set. Now I can cheer for Rafa and buy a case of beer no matter what happens. Love when a plan comes together

+140 is a horrible price for Nadal here, at this point Del Potro wins this match 70% of the time and Nadal has played an extremely grueling price to get here

Nadal looks like he's 50/50 to even finish the math at this point, obviously things are fluid though.

    Nadal is such a b*tch.

Del Potro is wiping his ass off the court because he's completely out bashing him, not because of Rafa's "injury".

Did you bet in-play? 5dimes actually returned my FREEPLAY after I took Nadal +900 and he retired 15 minutes later. Thought it would be a push (and therefore, on freeplay, a loss)

Normally moneyline bets are cashed if a player retires early but spread bets are returned - obviously different books will have different rules
