2u - Cepelova to beat Arruabarrena-Vecino @ -110: Dangerous opponent for the Spaniard. She's shown good form after bursting onto the scene a couple months back. LA-V is more of a clay courter, and I feel hard courts will benefit Cepelova's game (especially her serve down the T, which I watched and know how dangerous it can be). 2 units on the Slovakian to continue her success.
Monday night/Tues morning: Amanmuradova over Begu @ +125: Watched Amanmuradova play Na Li in a small tournament in the beginning the summer. She's a towering player with a huge forehand, but lacks consistency. That's where I feel playing in her native Uzbekistan will aid her. Begu's game is too loose for me: plays like a world beater one set, and has complete mental and physical lapses in the next.
Tuesday afternoon: Karatantcheva over Tatishvili @ +180: Another hot player. Tatishvili is prone to double faulting on the regular, and her second serve is laughable. The relative newcomer from Kazakhstan has a decent shot to take this match if she keeps her UEs down.
