U. Radwanska/Erakovic, Burdette/Bartoli and Cibulkova/Sema is the schedule. Cirstea rolled in today's opener.
Any big upsets tonight? Not likely, but I'll be rooting for the heavy underdogs. Paco and others, we need your reverse jinx skills this evening.

By the looks of it, I think many ppl suffered in todays games. Chardy backers got hit with a classic choke-job by him. Vinci probably killed some parlays. And now Nishikori gonna go down after leading the 1st set tie break 5-2.
These next matches might provide some more drama =/

There only a handful of players that should be backed in some of these tournaments...rest are all coin-flip matches.

Bartoli has Final pts to defend here from last year so she has to show up... thinking fartoli on HC or games under...

Edit -- Radwanska takes the first set 6-3. Need her to keep applying the pressure on Erakovic's service games.

Keothavong isn't nearly as good as Bartoli, but Burdette did dig out of a couple of holes to win that match. I was impressed with some parts of her game ... she can produce some good winners, and she played okay in the rallies. Her serve isn't world class by any means, but she could obviously have a future as a small-time professional if she won her first WTA match.
I feel Burdette is mentally strong and does not allow anyone to intimidate her, but she is going to get outclassed by Bartoli. The win over Keothavong was a big upset, but knocking off Bartoli would be even crazier than Rosol beating Nadal IMO. I'll put $5 or $10 on Burdette to have a rooting interest, but I figure I'm flushing that money down the toilet.
Of course, this is assuming Bartoli cares enough to win ...
Radwanska is really starting to misfire after going up 3-1 in the second set. It's disappointing to see her get so tight when everything was going her way, but that's WTA for you ...

Better stuff from Radwanska in her first service game of the third set. She has to cut out some of these unforced errors, though.
Wow, what a big shot down the line by Radwanska to get the break. Erakovic really screwed up that service game, but if that's what it takes for Radwanska to pull this one out, so be it.
Of course, Erakovic breaks right back ... Radwanska's dumb a*** thinks the point is over at 0-30, allowing Erakovic to win the point with an easy shot. Then she hits a shot that landed five feet past the baseline. WTA

Bartoli and Cibulkova = Stone-cold, lead-pipe locks ... I'm just hoping the dogs can make one set competitive.
