Yeah they've been good! Even the over/under 2.5's with the women. And the great thing is that even if a player retires after they've both won a set, you still get paid at 365 because it'd be impossible for your bet not to hit if the match had continued.

I can't see it, he is barely moving.

If he starts the third set badly, I think he will probably retire. Do you know your book's rule on retirements QuangX?

Some void all bets, some void only if the first set is not completed.

I got it this morning at -138 and about an hour before the match it was still at that price so I assume not many people were really touching it.

No every book has it's own rules that's why it's extremely important to know which ones apply where you're betting. Some are one ball, some are one set and others are void all retirements whenever they take place. You can use it to your advantage at times but if you assume wrong, you can get stung.

    Retirement or Disqualification:
    Head-to-Head Match-ups:

Men’s Tennis – ATP - One full set must be completed for wagers to stand. If less than One set is completed, all wagers are considered void.

I just chatted with a rep that said Retirement is no action. I made him explain it 4 times because I am reading right what you are reading but I had him say it a bunch of times. So if I need to I will bitch and moan, seeing how I just spoke with a rep that said it would be graded no action and I saved the chat.

I think he's going to quit some time here in the 3rd after he gets broken. Maybe right after the end of the set. If he stays even with Hewitt in sets, he's going to keep going unless he rips something totally and cannot walk.

Hewitt is such a tosser. This is what it's become ... getting excited about winning games from a gimp?

I hear you. I am baffled that retirement is not no action what the **** is that shit?

I have a copy of the chat transcript. I didn't bet much on the match, but it is the principle of it. We will see where this gets me.

I've got $30 on Hewitt to win $100 at 5D. If Roddick retires I'll still win right?

people should not be cheering hewitt for beating an injured roddick. Roddick would shit kick him any day, if he were healthy. Look a the first set.

If he's injured you have to give it to Roddick for fighting on.

How injured is he supposed to be? Missed first half of match and he looked fine in last few games to me.

Unless it flares up more, why would he retire now? He's playing Hewitt close to even still.

Yes. 5Dimes have a "one set has to be completed" rule.

Most books. As Shari mentioned above, you can use the various different sets of rules to your advantage.

Roddick needs to hang it up. Ever since that Wimbledon loss to Fed this guy has been going downhill. Find it hard to fathom him ever even making even a quarter in a grand slam.
The Canadian should beat Hewitt rather easily in this next match.

Damn, to think I considered putting 100 on Hewitt instead of just 30. I was tilting that bad. This is one time when I wish I would have let myself be really stupid. Of course, if I had, Roddick would have won in straight sets lol.

If you bet on Hewitt, you'd be pissed if you did. Retirements help as much as they hurt.
