Best book to be pro in
Looking for suggestions on the best book to Become a Pro in. I use a local for most of my stuff - so would be depositing mostly to get in on some of the poker games/trivia/contests.
So maybe the best way to put it is - where is it easiest to deposit (from US) - that hosts a lot of good contests - and that I can become a pro in?
Pretty sure its $200 min right? At any book - if anyone can link me to something if there is already a thread out there - that would be awesome!

Each book has something different to offer. If you are a dog better Bodog always has good dog lines. Bookmaker has terrible moneylines in hockey and baseball. 5dimes has reduced juice lines.
5dimes or Bookmaker. Both have good offers. 5Dimes reimburses your **/** fees on deposits 250+ and offer reduced juice lines. Bookmaker accepts VC cards (which is nice), has loyalty points that accumulate and has a 10% freeplay bonus on deposits over 100
If you don't mind going to a ** or **, go with 5Dimes.

5Dimes would be a good choice. Lot of variety and reduced juice - that $200 can last a long time there.

Do you mean to be a pro as professional handicapper? You have to understand that being a pro is not only about betting limits, it is also about winning. Good books for being a pro... First if you are in US , forget Pinny ( which sucks and reminds -you live in a land of the free)

2.Bookmaker ( Chris group is bit slow in their act but they won't blink the eye if you take them for $150k)
3.Diamond
4.Matchbook ( that one is exchange and not easy to deposit)
5. Youwager ( that book takes pro business up to the point)
5Dimes - if you win consistently there, then lunatic Tony over there will accuse you in professional play and curse you like shoemaker after which you are gone like a shit from a body.... On a plus side- they will never steal your money- you get your balance fast as a bullet
BJ belongs to Greek and they also don't wanna see pros there. In their opinion - if you are pro, you should play in Greek.
In your case I would go with Greek or BM

5dimes is my personal choice for so many reasons..the greek is good as well, however for some reason i just don;t care for betjam. just remember whoever you go with take care of paperwork upfront!
meaning fax or email cc info, id etc...its so much easier than to try to do it all in a rush when you might be up and want to cash out.
that's prob the best advice i was ever given, and most pros will tell you the same.
bodog is an option but they are sooooooooo hated by so many. their cs is worse than non-existent. they also have the most horror stories than any other book, ironic thing is its not over no pays, its just everything else.
if i were to go pro and need to put 200 into somewhere go with a great new player bonus with low rollover.
