    Betfair Vs Matchbook Us Sports

Hi i just checked matchbook to see what is happening there and i found out they donot have a lay option.Did i made any mistake;I saw high volume at nba matches but if u can only back an option who am i playing against;who is laying at this market; Betfair have this great advantage i must say but the volume there is smaller for us sports. I would apreciate your opinion!

It's a two-way market, so backing one side is identical to laying the other.

You can "Bet against" at Matchbook on multi-way events (World Series winner etc).

I didn't think BetFair had much liquidity for US Sports... I would think Matchbook has more liquidity on US Sports...

Another exchange you might want to checkout would be Tradesports sir, however their commission fees are a bit higher. I believe it's currently 4% over there if I'm not mistaken.

Thanks a lot guys. I checked also tradesports but i still find betfair much easier to use and to understand how it works.if they had better liquidility at us sports they would be perfect.i think everything will change if after the us2008 elections they finally disable this law for internet gambling and us guys start using the exchange markets to bet.

I hope you're right, but I wouldn't count on it. What does a politician gain by taking a "tough stand" FOR gambling?
