    Gemini exchange

Anybody using Gemini for buying bit coin. I think they have their own wallet. Is this place good for what we do. Trying to get started with bitcoin, I tried coinbase, but had No fuking luck with that place. They won't answer the phone or emails. I'm a small player. Never more than a few hundred dollars. Win or lose. I was happy doing money transfers but that finally went to shit.

Coinbase is actually instant to bank account if you have a debit card linked to it. But I agree they really don't have any customer service. A few weeks for them to respond to an email.

Who is the middle man you use to send to sportsbook ...I've used coinbase but they never get back to me - they messed up on 1 of mine during a outage .....bitcoin never got sent ....so need a good wallet and exchange that can send to bank account - coinbase was good with that it would transfer immediately

If you're buying/selling a lot, I think Kraken is better. Lower fees. It's not instant, but you save money.

I like Mycelium the best also use Edge as stand alone "middleman" wallets. Gemini Coinbase Bitpay are examples how to get money out

Did I read this right? Bread wallet is now charging about 28percent to withdraw. Saw on their site. $3. To withdraw $11. That's crazy.

30,000,000 customers, and about 3 employees to service them. In a perfect world the computers would handle everything.

No you did not read that right.

In fact I will bet you 1000 points to your 1 point that you did not read the words 28% charge at all, anywhere!

Bread wallet do not charge you any fee to send.

The $3 is a miners fee that you choose the amount of when you send.

Just make the miners fee less if you dont care how long the confirmation takes.

The wallet suggest the best miner fee at that moment.

    You can adjust it.

It tells you what is best fee here https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/

Right now, if you don't care if it takes 24-48 hours to be confirmed, you can get away with about 10% of optimum fee for a send. So assuming Bread wallet is giving you an accurate estimate for the kb size of the send, you could try sending your $11 with a 30 cent miner fee.

Gemini is very solid- like others have said Coinbase zero customer service
Use EDGE wallet - blockchain is fine but if your not paying attention to fees you can end up sending with low fees and waiting hours or days for confirmation.
