    ....DEAD. Much like the old Murray, who in 1999 announced his own death, BookTheBet seems to have gone offline. This "deposit only" shop was run by Tony "the stiff" Block and his childhood friend, George. Block was at one time believed to also be notorious stiff Tony Salas, though Block denied that he was also Salas.

    . I will never get my $4900 which is owed but at least George and Tony won't be able to scam anyone else. I would still be interested in meeting this George character face to face one day. Anyone have a current number or address?
