    Betmania - Not paying

MOD EDIT: Betmania management advises that accounts flagged as sharp have an additional step where a manager reviews/approves payments. You are sharp. They advised your payment will definitely be processed on Monday.

    Hello all,

I created an account with Betmania back in April with $3000 in deposits. I used that along with the free plays to run my balance up to $12k. Took 5 months, but I made it through the $125k in rollover that came with my bonus.

In Sept, I successfully took $4k of my $12k out via bitcoin without any issues leaving $8k in my account.

I put in a $4k payout request yesterday. It was rejected saying my account is under review which is strange cause they approved the payout in Sept and I've made about 5 bets with this book since then.

I talked to them on the phone this morning and they said they can't tell me why I'm being reviewed and that it will take til the end of the month to complete. Told me to wait 15 days and submit a new request and see what happens at the end of the month.

Has anyone else had similar issues recently? The fact they're simply delaying the payout by 15 days is very scary, really hoping they're not broke and this is the start of non pay issues.

    Hi Vegaspackerfan,

A manager from Betmania saw this thread and reached out to say that as your account is flagged as sharp your payouts do go through an extra approval step.

He says it sounds like a communication breakdown though, as it definitely is not a month long process.

He found your request and said it had already been approved so your payment should be on the way any time now.

Nice work SBR. When depositing and playing on this group of sites HRWager/BetMania/BetPhoenix/Skybook. Do NOT deposit a lot of money. $120,000 rollover is insane with their juiced up lines and low limits.

Thanks Optional for passing the information along and Betmania for providing feedback. Waiting until Monday is reasonable, especially with the Bitcoin price being so volatile right now.

Regarding the rollover, it was a lot, but the book did clearly state all the rules so I knew what I was getting in to. Guess I'm a sucker for signup and reload bonuses and the 200% was too good to pass up. Great bonus, but definitely a grind to get to $125k in rollover betting baseball games at $250 a pop.

Thanks again Optional, I'll provide additional feedback once the verification process is complete.

LOL They probably get the money hands down from about 999 out of every 1000 people who take this outrageously ridiculous bonus and try to make $125k worth of bets on their deposit before they lose all the money!

And the ONE dude out of about every 1000 that DIDN'T lose their money and DID manage to complete the utterly ridiculous rollover, they label him a "sharp" and hold his money from him!

LOL If THAT doesn't show you how ridiculous these huge rollover gimmicks are, then nothing will!

    The bonus rules should say:

Note: "These bonus rollovers are so ridiculous that if you manage to complete it before we get all your deposit, then we will label you a "sharp" and delay your payout!"

    LOL

In the end, it was my decision to take the bonus, they don't force it on you. It was a lot of free money.

Guess it depends on the person. If you make a lot of big bets, rollovers can go quick. I knew I was going to be with the book for the entire baseball season so it would be silly not to take it IMO.

Just received a call from Betmania management. They said the review of my account is complete and I can submit a new request. They said it should be paid out by Monday.

I'll send an update once the funds have been received.

They always slow pay, but as long as you remain diligent and polite, you get paid. Similar story here.... Skybook is way worse, cutting limits and increasing juice to impede ability to meet rollover.

Of course they don't "force" bonuses on you.
But they didn't have to label you a "sharp" just because you completed the rollover!

But the salesmen do try to sucker people into taking them, because like I said, over 90% of the people who take a (big) bonus, they lose all their money waaaay before they complete the ridiculous rollover requirement.

That was my point. Is that they have hundreds of thousands of dollars from people who lost their money waaaay before they completed the rollover gimmick, and then when somebody FINALLY completes the roll, they label them a "sharp" instead of paying them!

I mean geez dude, it's like 90% isn't enough for them! It's like they want EVERY single dollar that gets deposited!

If my gimmick rollover nets me 90% of all the deposits right in my freakin pocket, then I'm not going to label somebody a "sharp" and put a hassle on somebody who finally completes the rollover!!

I don't think everyone who completes a bonus rollover at BM is auto labelled as Sharp Joe.

Or that they are very tricky with the marketing or terms.

I genuinely think almost all people who take bonuses there do understand what they are choosing.

They are a "rec book" though. They aren't very tolerant of sharps. Plenty of punters out there that aren't sharp and bet for entertainment though. This model suits them with the bonuses.

No they aren't "tricky" with bonus marketing or terms. People really think they like the things!

Until they see how rare it is that they will ever see any of their deposit again!

The S-Books just know that a high percentage of people who take the bonuses with the huge rollover requirements are practically "dead money" from the minute they deposit.

In other words, as soon as the deposit is made and a huge bonus is taken, 90% of the time, that money is never leaving the S-book.

But you've told me before, "Wouldn't you do that if you were them?" LOL HELL YEAH I would!

But when the one out of a thousand people actually completed the rollover and DIDN'T lose their money, then I wouldn't stall the payout and label them a "sharp"!!

    I'd say:
"Congratulations here's your money! You wouldn't want to take that same bonus and try to do that again would you?"

    LOL

I think good businesses should have some ethics, but I'm also happy to live in a capitalist democracy where businesses are allowed and expected to maxmize profits.

If I just like to play football season and know the most I'd like to risk over the season is $500 and think it's a tossup whether I will win or lose, then a bonus to make that a $1000 bankroll is very attractive to me.

Rollover isn't the big issue for this type of player. Their bankroll lasting to the end of the season so they can keep betting is often priority #1.

They aren't being tricked or exploited are they?

You really don't need to be so angry that an offer exists that other players want but does not interest you.

And hell, Option, let me be the first to say that plenty of people on here say that they take bonuses and complete the wagering requirements and then get paid! I'm just "biased" because I have no freakin discipline. I CAN'T take a bonus because I'd never come close to wagering thousands of dollars worth of bets before I gambled it all in the casino!!

I don't even count because I can't send money anywhere that doesn't have a casino block or I am the "deadest" money on the planet!! LOL

All I am down to now is Nitrogen because I can send money in, and block myself from the casino, and then make one or 2 sports bets and get a quick payout!

So that just happened about 11 days ago, and I got a payout, but I decided I'd let the BiT Coin roll instead of immediately transferring it to my Bitpay card and see if I could make a few bucks if BTc went up in price, and instead BTC dropped about 20% before I transferred it to my BitPay card! LOL

So I lost 20% WITHOUT even betting anything!!

Yeah that example only works with discipline!

I hope you at least don't throw money at casinos you need for living.

I'm only "angry" that other people have the discipline to keep a balance in a S-book for months and meet huge bonus rollover requirements without losing all their money in the casino! LOL

But hell, at least it is good that I know I have no discipline!

I just received my payout via bitcoin (there must be some hidden fees for bitcoin payouts they don't list, I requested $4000, received $3928).

SBR ~ Any chance you could change the Title of this post to something like "Betmania - Verification Process" or update it that I've been paid? Wouldn't want future readers to see it and think they didn't pay.

Thanks again SBR for this forum that allows players to share their experiences. It was very helpful in getting this payment processed.
