It takes me a few days to get up enough cash to deposit in a book via **, but that's OK, I usually go close to the minimum for the book to pay the fees ( about $300-500)
I haven't actually gone to the CU offices in about two years, since I needed a cashier's check to buy a used truck. The hour is roundtrip, about 30 miles away in several directions. If I get a check from a book, I like to mail it to them for deposit, avoids any face to face questions, plus I have a lifetime supply of checks printed for that account already ! They don't hassle me, A long while since I've got a check from a book....but I liked just mailing it into that CU, then get a receipt for the deposit in the mail 2-3 days later....works for me.
