I'm thinking about filing a complaint against a sportbook for a delayed/stalled payout. Was curious to know of your experience with the SBR's Complaint Process. Is it even worth it? Was SBR effective at getting any results and whats the typical turnaround time?
Well first you have nothing to loose to try to get SBR help you with your book.
After the answers depend of the bookmaker, and if they cooperate with SBR or not.
From my exeperience i know that SBR agent are really involved to help you but sometime the bookmake can be very slow before answering.
It definitely helps with a stalled payout. And SBR keeps track of those complaints and the outcome to determine grades. So it is useful to submit a complaint even if it does not get resolved. But a complaint will usually get the wheels in motion rather quickly because the book knows its rating is involved.
We are happy to help take a look at your issue. Sportsbooks that hold good ratings and care about the user experience typically quickly resolve any issues. Books with many open complaints or in lesser standing with players may not always be so reliable.
SBR has helped me twice in disputes with sportsbooks. Without their help I would not have been able to resolve the issues in my favor. It is definitely worth it at least from my experience. Also the results from their help only took a day or two.
