    Bovada fails to pay wagers.

Yes, this is my first post. And sure, i registered only because im pretty tilted. i will try not to bring the discourse down too much...On Thursday evening i placed 3 wagers(same prop) on bovada live. The Angels/jays -will a run be scored this inning(5th inn). If you don't know what Bovada Live is, its an app where they provide you with props/wagers where the odds change depending on the progress of the game. They change every inning, every batter, every pitch... Anyway, my wagers occurred with one man on(1st) in the top of the 5th. The line was -105, seemed like a good line. Again, made my wagers, and they were all accepted. Shortly after this a run scored, huzzah, fuckin A, good stuff... It didnt credit me immediately, so i checked back after the inning finished and still the line was open. 15-20 minutes later, my original ammt was credited back to my acct. I called cust service, and they said this line was past post.... meaning that this was a line that they wanted to close, but didnt. I told them i made the wager, they accepted it, and they should have to pay it. They did not agree. Furthermore, when i said ,hey, this is an error you guys made... you have to make this right.... the customer service rep had the gall to tell me it wasn't their fault. And the error had something to do with my computer. Im not going to get into how mad that made me, i was not at all kind to the rep.

As i realize im being incredibly boring ill sum up the rest..... i spoke with mult reps, not one offered to grade my wager correctly, or even give me some kind of comp. I will never deposit another dime with Bovada until they grade the wager correctly. This is not the first bad experience ive had with them since the bodog-bovada switch. Honestly, i thought their service used to be quite good... And before this it was still fine but they seem to have problems making these exceptions on a situation by situation basis. Bodog never used to have that problem. Losing my business, is not something that should rate this kind of hard headedness. Ok, im bad at summing things up.
I'm not playing at Bovada until their cust service shapes up, neither should you.

All online sportsbooks are starting to get raped by the u.s. gov't. Only solution is to go local or move to Vegas.

Ok, so it looks like you took a shot to the 5th inn runs when the inning had already started?

Happens everywhere. Most would avoid these type bets and are not surprised when they're canceled.

Yup, NO book worldwide offers these props as soon as the innings starts, never mind with a man on base etc.

Get over it, you got your money back so at least they didnt rob you like some do.

First off, i was totally upfront about the situation so whomever posted im trying to cheat the book.... probably works for bovada or another book. I probably posted this in the wrong part off the forum. I will post in the correct part shortly. Second off, I bet in the bovada live section so they have wagers/props that are offered every batter. Its not my job to know which wager/prop is valid and which is not. If you offer a bet, and accept it, that should be enough. Is that really that ridiculous of a statement? Plus they made no effort to make any compromise, and were really rude.

If -105 was the price before a man got on first, it was a past-post. If you put a man on first with no outs, the odds of a run scoring go up about 15%. A 15% error is pretty clearly an error (in addition to being a post-post).

Every book out there would void this if they noticed. Some would close your account. I don't think you have a remedy here -- you were the shot taker, not them.

in my opinion the book should pay any wager accepted and here is why..even if it was past posted if the OP took no runs scored in the 5th inning would he have got his money back? maybe yes/maybe no....this live betting gives the book far too many ways to get out of a bet they have to pay out.....an accepted bet should be an accepted bet..period end of story....several times ive clicked the wrong team and guess what? they do not let me cancel my wager I have to put a bet on the other team to cancel a wager...if I cant cancel why can a book cancel after the outcome has occurred?

Once you deposit money on any online sports book, they call the shots and make the rules. The players have very little recourse. Lesson learned and move on.
