New Jersey to tell the DOJ to shove it up their ass?

So, the Supreme Court announced they will discuss the Jersey case on June 19th, and then announce on the June 23rd if they will hear the case.

    If if Jersey loses.....

Ray Lesniak the Jersey politician is telling anyone who will listen that come next year, Jersey will offer sports wagering no matter what.

Here is how Jersey gets around it.

They simply will choose not to regulate gambling.

They will allow books/street bookies/racing offices to take bets.

This will actually get around the 3rd Circuit and DOJs objection...... they will basically be taking the DOJ's own petition and sticking back up their ass.

    It's smart.

You mean, like how "scared" they were when it came to introducing internet gambling?

Chris Christie, "NJ will have sports betting this fall"

I saw Lesniak commenting on this, but I was really surprised to see Christie openly say it.

New Jersey will defy a federal ban and let people bet on the outcomes of football, basketball and other games this fall, Gov. Chris Christie said Thursday.

Speaking at a news conference highlighting efforts to reinvigorate Atlantic City, Christie said the regulations his administration will issue next week make no attempt to overturn a 1992 federal law that limits sports betting to four states.

"We intend to go forward," the Republican governor said. "If someone wants to stop us, then let them try to stop us. We want to work with the casinos and horse racing industry to get it implemented.

Once the dam breaks it might not be much longer for NT and MB to come back to the States. Poker trying to distance itself from sports betting for legislative reasons, but scumbag politicans, whose avarice makes degen gamblers blush, can see tax money and payoffs and skim etc etc out the whazoo from all of this. The floodgates will soon be open.
