Busy times are afoot for WagerWeb for the upcoming football season. Out of the myriad of possible motivations, two stand out above the others.

• Legends wishes to stay in the US market by rebranding/purchasing a book that has fewer connections to Spiros/thegreek than heritage had.
• BI version 2.0. The buildup of a pump and dump through an association with a former A+ book in the efforts of making a go of it in the US market. The pump and dump would be the golden parachute if profit projections are not met or losses occur.

The sportsbook ratings services whose ratings increase through sponsorship dollars will gradually lift this books ratings to a recommend or at least to a B+ level by the time football season nears. What was the real motivation behind the choice of Wagerweb for the legends transition will not be known to most people until it actually plays out. The 10x rollover is clearly a delay tactic on having the run on the bank occur. The 10x prevents people cashout's from being rejected due to lack of funds. 10x plus the lines offer substansil protection from having to pay people. Funds will be lost, and players that had legends rolls are in jeopardy.

Proactive Measures

For anyone that has been on this site for months or longer. The inclination might be to deposit in this book. Your funds if they existed are being held hostage with the 10x rollover. I would rather trust a high ranking official in the Nigerian government than the book in this situation. Do not deposit in this book. 5Dimes and especially Bookmaker have withstood previous DOJ actions. If you must invest offshore and are in the US, these two books might be your only outs.

Just a warning to anyone who would consider depositing in this book......might as well go to that red sports variant that was BI.

A lot of the points you mentioned are spot on and very plausible. I don't think Legends is trying to purchase or rebrand Wagerweb though. I think if they were trying to rebrand, they would pick a book with a lot better reputation than Wagerweb. At one point, Wagerweb had a "D" or "F" rating a few years ago. Maybe not on SBR but I recalled seeing that rating at another site.

Comment.... -A- rated services had been approached but when it came down to closing a deal then Legends had to show the sheets hard numbers and that caused one of two things to happen with those approached. Revised deal when it came to Legends comp end or a step back/away from the deal... you can figure out what went with who.
Secondly, alot of processing capability was lost by Legends from numerous reasons fron the indictment fallout. The 10x roll will lockup a substantial amount of the sheets liabilty (probably at least 50% based on NFL peak) and make it a possibly workable situation with the new service provider until NFL season comes back into play but either way it will effect Legends comp on the backend for the worse no matter how it pans out.
Thirdly, WW was in the power position at the closing of the deal so could insist on parameters to be met to close which is rare to have such leverage over such a higher thought of service. This can really be nothing but good for WW no matter how it is looked at...

Im curious. I have been with wagerweb for awhile but i never really see anything negative posted here regarding people not getting payouts or being scammed or anything like that. Is it fair for a book to have one outstanding issue with one customer and receive a d or f rating or am i missing something?
