Has anyone used this method to place wagers while in Vegas? I have a condo there and will be visiting for the holidays with the family without instant access to a book. I thought this might be a good option to help not pull me away from the family every time I want to place a wager.

I hope they've improved it since June. Depositing is pretty easy at any book, they do charge 4% for using a CC;withdraws pretty easy, just fill in a form, kinda like it was at banks years ago. The problem is the wagering menu is pretty much limited to the major sports, they don't offer everything on the mobile they do in the actual book. The app is not very easy to use, and this coming from someone who's used more than a dozen offshores with all types of platforms. They bragged about offering "live" wagering during the Euro 2012 soccer, but I was NEVER able to get a bet in, they always expired before they could be confirmed. Overall, if you're just looking to get a pregame or halftime bet on a major sport, it's fine, but if you want to bet most props, unless they've improved, you'll be disappointed.

They use wi-fi only, as I recall, and unless it is accessed through a Nevada based cell, it won't work. I tested it driving back to CA, and within a mile or so of the border, it went out, so I guess it will last as far as the last Nevada tower reaches.

I use Cantor for baseball while in Vegas all summer... I also shopped Will Hill thru Stations; here's the differences:
1- With Cantor you pick a main casino to set up at. (I used the Palms). Meaning, if you want to withdrawl (which is simple), you have to go to that one. Will Hill you can withdrawl at any Stations casino.
2- Will Hill offers a much better app
3- Will Hill you get $1 in comps for every $1000 wagered

Having said that, I still use Cantor... Simple reason; better lines, especially on baseball totals
You can see Stations lines on vegas insider website, but to see Cantors I have to look on the app, I havent found them posted anywhere online?

No, it does not work like that. U can't login unless you are in Nevada. They use a geo-fence. It's not just GPS. There is another thread here at SBR about it. All of this was all talked about and tried.

STATIONS way better lines across the board than Cantor, baseball totals included.....................this is not to say that from time to time Cantor will provide some, but STATIONS way better overall.
