So I was told I did not complete the requirements to earn the $5. Bet on both Bowls. One an in-game wager, one a half-time bet. Just sent them this back:

What did I not complete? There are two pieces to the purple set, correct? The Potato Bowl & New Mexico Bowl. Made a live in-game bet on the Potato Bowl: Single #2xxxxxxx and a half-time bet on the New Mexico Bowl Single #2xxxxxx. Did they have to be for only five dollars each? Both were for over $5 or is there some other obscure rule like you have to bet on the full game outcome only to be eligible? If so, you guys are again wording these very poorly and screwing a lot of people and generally making this promotion not a whole lot of fun when it could have been just that.

I am guessing in addition to not saying you need to make the bet on the day of the game that the bets also have to be on the full outcome of the game - be it a side or a total rather than making an in-game or half time bet which is what I like to do. Makes the promotion a total joke if that is the case. It is even worse if the bets have to be exactly the amount listed on the board. Who the F is going to make a $5 bet only just to earn a $5 risk free play or any of the other amounts. Never stipulated from what I have seen.

Don't even care about the $5 at this point, just enjoying reaming them for their piss poor rules outline for just about every promotion they do.

I never read anything about making bets on the game day but in the terms and conditions it did say you had to bet full game total and sides... I noted it because it was a change from previous promos where you were allowed to make derivative bets and still qualify...

Hopefully this is my last post on this matter. From Bovada customer service email. "Please be informed that if you already placed your bet for 'Las Vegas Bowl', 'New Orleans Bowl' and 'Poinsettia Bowl' within this promotion timeframe from December 15, 2012 up to January 7, 2012, you will be eligible for this bonuses. Please be noted that bonus will be issued on your account 24 hours after the day indicated on each boxes."

This contradicts their earlier email which stated "Kindly note that upon further check on your account, we are unable to see that you place a bet for New Mexico Bowl and Potato Bowl dated December 15, 2012. Please be advised that the bet must be placed on the day that it was indicated on the Bowlopoly board. With this being said, we are unable to issue your account the $5 Risk Free Bet.", which got me so up in arms in the first place. I believe the new (first mentioned) statement is correct and my bets placed on the 15th will be honored for the bonus. We shall see ;-)

as a heads up, the risk free bet has to be made on a college bowl game, so i threw $5 to win 4.17 on san diego st +3 -120. might as well lay the juice if you get it back anyway

If it was properly credited you can see it if you click on the "My Account" tab below your account balance and then the "Bonuses" tab on the menu that pops up.

Seriously? So you have to use it on a bowl game, yet you cannot use it towards finishing a property set. These fukkers have more loopholes than a f-ing bank. Glad to say I won't be participating in any more of this Bowlopoly BS, good luck Mike!

you use the freeplay on a bowl game, but then make a SEPARATE $5 bet to meet the requirements.
yeah i think i'm one of the only ones that will get the free $200 at the end with all their silly rules

We just want to clarify a few things in regard to the Bowlopoly promotion.

The 'Football' set requirements have to be completed between December 15, 2012 and January 7, 2013, in order to qualify for the $25 Cash Bonus. Any tasks completed before or after that time frame won't count. The $25 Cash Bonus will be credited to qualifying players on January 8, 2013.

Wagers do not have to be made on an actual bowl date to earn a property, just as long as at least the minimum bet amount is wagered. After the final game in a property set has completed, the corresponding bonuses will be issued via email the following business day.

Bonuses earned in Bowlopoly can be used on any sport, but they cannot be used to earn a property.

Lastly, all players who have opted into Bowlopoly will receive a 20% reload bonus offer up to $200 at the end of the promotion, which is what the ‘Go’ square is in reference to.

just to clarify, if it says "$50 bet" that means you must RISK at least $50, not have that as the TO WIN amount, right?
