whatever happened to heritage sports being classy?

heritage sports bashing customers over the head dealing dual lines. if heritage is your main book and you want to take the chicago blackhawks tonight, you'd have to pay -150! fair market price was -131. that's a huge difference. with lines like this, nobody would be good enough to win.

not so fast you say, if heritage's lines are so off, wouldn't people just bet the other side and even it out? well, not exactly. because heritage now deals dual lines on all sports (which is illegal in las vegas, by the way) they can effectively charge 25 cents vig on hockey. square customers get -150 on the blackhawks, and sharps get +125 on the red wings. it would be brilliant if only it wasn't an outright scam.

heritage's 8 cent mlb lines quickly become 18 cent lines when you take into account the fact that they often deal dual lines shaded by an unheard of 10 cents. the only other book scummy enough to deal dual lines, bovada, at least only shades by 5 cent, and usually only 3 cents in baseball.

one last thing: heritage sports used to offer free payouts. not anymore. when i last tried to request one i was told they do not have free payouts. when i corrected them and pointed out that heritage does in fact offer free payouts, i was told that my account is not eligible.

heritage used to be a classy outfit. now they've become a joke.

Is there concrete proof of the dual lines?

Heritage calls me every week looking for a deposit, some dude Frank left voicemail today. Heritage reload bonus & cash back program is inferior to DSI/Bookmaker, so they lost my business.

    Nope

If this was from someone who actually had money to bet, it'd be taken a little more seriously.

cashback is more than DSI's betpoints

    as for bonuses, that's true

then again, DSI only does freeplays

compare the lines that heritage lists on sbr with the ones they list on their site. if they match, heritage doesn't think much of you.

For me it's less, because my Heritage level is 0.4% cash back. Let's say for example $30,000 was wagered in the quarter, that's only $120 back from Heritage. For that same $30,000 wagered at DSI/Bookmaker at my current diamond levels, 30,000 bet points nets $217. Only if I was at Heritage highest level of 0.8, then it would be a little better.

My 40% free play reload bonus from DSI/Bookmaker equates to a little over 30% cash back, when I break down the free play into 16 parlays. Almost 4x more than the measly 8% reload cash Heritage offers! For my needs, DSI/Bookmaker is way better than Heritage.

    bahahaha

Your source is a free service like SBROdds?

    Are you kidding me?

FWIW... If you are as sharp as you think you are, you might invest a little money in Sports Options or Don Best, instead of relying on the misinformation from SBRodds.

sure, try it with sports options as well, same result. don best does not offer a heritage feed, but i'm sure you already knew that, right brian?

since I play at heritage I may as well make the top level

I play at DSI daily but I've never reached diamond. I'm on the second level

399 cashback this quarter from heritage, more than I've received lifetime from DSI betpoints

so more cash back plus less juice makes it an easy choice, as to which I prefer, although my handle at DSI is probably like 10k this year

The other DSI drawback is live betting means no betpoints

Have to agree Heritage has dropped from what they were prior to taking on BetJam customers...but they are still solid.

They made a decision to favor volume over losing play..they used to love rec/square play and reward it...now they love volume.

Deal with it and adjust your business to what they reward..if you dont have business they want..move on as there is someone in this industry who likely does and will treat you better.

Do I have proof of dual lines, no..just suspicions. But easiest way to avoid this is by not falling into set patterns...if they know you bet every dog of +180 or more in bases..of course a smarter outfit shades your line on the dogs...find a higher limit square book and pound the dog there and toss limits on the favr at Heritage a few times for a risk free play (or slight advantage play) and suddenly Heritage stops shading your lines as they cant profile you as well.

The cashback favors volume..and the days of a personal touch are gone..but they are still one of the best out there. You want hand holding, free plays and contest..go to one of the many new small shops. You want stability and lower juicr bases with options and a refund then heritage is still great.

So they do still offer free payouts...just not to YOU. (for whatever reason)

Everytime I see a negative topic about a book I use I'm like oh shiiiiiiiit here we go what happened now...then it's usually just some personal issue a player has with the book and not a "global" problem.

If this is the major issue with Heritage I consider myself lucky to use them

There is nothing wrong with a book dealing you any lines they wish as long as the "vig" is the same as everyone else. The same goes for me and Heritage dealing "dual lines" does NOT make them unclassy if they are even doing it at all. Heritage is a business and their goal is to make money. If they are charging you a higher price on the team you like, that means they are giving you a better price on the other side. If you consistently are betting on the same team due to you being a fan of that team, you're not likely to make money gambling. If you don't like their lines, PLAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!

Heritage is a top book , always has been and always will be. Don't try to bash them when their regular customers know it's a top notch book. If you live in the US it's by far the best book you can find. It's been like that for years.

The Heritage prices quoted by Sports Options do not match up with what sharp players are actually being offered at Heritage. I am SHOCKED to learn that you are on their square set of lines.

I'm not gonna comment either way about whether or not Heritage actually deals dual lines. My favorite sportsbook by far and I'm not gonna penetrate up that out cause I know Mike and co. read the board.

All I was saying was a personal attack on lecubs because he tries to play it off like he's soooo sharp and all he does is attack me.. when in reality, he uses a fuckin free line service and can't afford a 200 dollar deposit. He's a 2p2 wannabe/follower who just runs his mouth like the rest of the nerds on there.

brian, this thread is not about what a fukk up you are in life, this thread is about heritage dealing dual lines.

it sounds like at this point, even you, a heritage nuthugger, admit that heritage might have dual line sets for different customers, but because you think that mike is your friend, you don't wanna say anything about it.

i don't really think this is a secret, i talked to mike & co about this last year and they admitted it immediately on the phone, unlike bovada, who pathetically try to hide it. what has me upset about this now is that it used to be just a baseball thing, and it used to be only a 4 cent shade. now it appears to be all sports, and sometimes it's a 10 cent shade. and now the feeds don't match up so i have to log in to check every time i see something worth betting.

this, combined with other recent steps backward, has heritage in the doghouse

I'm a penetrate up in life when you can't afford a 200 dollar deposit!? Haha.

I don't bet much MLB at heritage as I have an agent at pinnacle where I can always get the better price...

It isn't a secret that Heritage deals dual lines.

I don't know or have anything against Brian Laverty.

However, from reading the forums, he almost always sides with Heritage so he isn't the most impartial person when it comes to that shop.
