yes there is precedent... that this will never happen

    remember this

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2009_R...otball_matches

this will never happen because then every team that loses will want a rematch

also there was plenty of time, even if goal had not counted, panama could have still won

FIFA has done this a lot, they just let the refs make the decision,England v Germany 2010 WC I think it was,England scores was ruled no goal by the idiot ref even though it cleared the line plain as day.

dunno, in the south africa game its being repeated not because of a bad call, but because they think the referee was on purpose influencing the result of the game

This is why soccer will never catch on in the US. No replay and crooked officials.

FIFA usually back their officials so I highly doubt it, surprised it's even a thing.

Chile are trying to overturn the Peru/Colombia match also as they played out for a draw. Think Falcao had a convo with a few Peru players late saying settle down and the Peruvian guys admitted he said play out the draw. FIFA don't like that, but again won't be overturned.

    1. replay is being tested in official matches for a couple of years now, if teams and fans like it it will probably become mainstream

    2. you have to be joking? during and after every game in any us sport everyone in the usa is bitching about how crooked the officials are, including many on sbr. and you have instant replay so im guessing what they are saying is, it doesnt really make a difference

Youre right, its just fruitless.FIFA definetly aren't changing two of the Qualifying matches, just makes them lose face and that aint happening.
