Hi all new to the forum. Just going to post my favorite play of the day daily and see what happens. Flat betting them all (I'll call each 1 unit). This is somewhat of an experiment and not my standard approach. Happy to discuss anything and everything football. Seems like a nice thing you all have going here...

Yeah just going to post my favorite on the card each day in this thread. Curious if over time I'm better off increasing my wager size and flat betting my favorite play, or if my judgment of my BEST play isn't strong enough to take this approach. Somewhat of an experiment.
As for the Italian match, it has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch which I don't think bodes particularly well for my wager, but we'll see...

Spezia was a close 2nd at PK, but the way Frosinone is scoring I really like their chances. Carpi got 3 points today and Frosinone will look to keep pace for the top of the table with a win against a mediocre opponent. With the cushion of the draw I can't find a reason not to take a shot here...

There is a great opportunity tomorrow in Colombian soccer...my favorite team Atletico Nacional is playing in the Colombian League version of playoffs tomorrow at Santa Fe. Nacional will be resting A LOT of their lineup for two reasons. 1st of all they have a Copa Sudamericana match against Sao Paulo at home. 2nd of all they won their first match against Huila and already have a 3 point cushion on the group (it works the same as Champions league gruop stage, and the top team advances). If they lose this match they will still be able to advance from the group to the final if they beat Santa Fe at home and I imagine they will not sweat dropping 3 points on the road at Santa Fe, with the CopaSudAmericana semi-final on Wednesday (to make you a comparison, this is the south american equivalent to Europa league, but imagine a team that never had much of a realistic chance at Champions league, so this would be a big deal for them, and they are playing a Brazilian team, which excites Colombians a lot). Santa Fe however NEVER take Nacional lightly and will go all out for 3 points. This is a really good opportunity to bet against my own team and I imagine the line will tempt Nacional money...

I am seeing -118 for Santa Fe at a book that I can't wager at, and the truth is this is a bit steep, but it is also quite telling. Nacional is kind of like the Denver Broncos of the NFL or the Miami Heat (of the past few years) of the NBA, they are definitely a PUBLIC side, so for them to big this big of a dog here is pretty telling IMO.

Good luck Franz, it is Colombia, so it isn't the cleanest league of all time if you know what I mean, which is why I rarely bet it. But occasionally something like this pops up.

3 starters on international duty and 2 starters on the bench not enough fire power for Nacional but still managed to make a competitive match...I will be marking the return fixture on my calendar because these two teams do not like each other one bit, and when the starters return for Nacional they will look to take revenge. That will take place December 7th so mark your calendars and lets make more money.

Not much on tomorrows card but one game sort of stands out. The Israel U19 team has been held scoreless in 5 of their less seven and lost 6 of those 7, their only win coming 2-1 against a Bulgaria team that is clearly the weak team of the group. Ukraine are a better side, and have more experience playing against higher quality opponents. They are coming off a 5-1 win against Bulgaria, preceded by a 2-2 draw with Sweden. I think that Ukraine have too dangerous of an attack for Israel to keep pace with and Ukraine will score goals in this game. They are tied with Sweden at the top of the table, and Sweden should easily take 3 points from Bulgaria, so Ukraine will want all 3 pts from this match. A draw could occur, but we are getting the significantly better team at a decent price so I think it is worth a shot here.
