Do you hedge at the semi-Final stage and Final game?
or do you just hedge only if its down to 2 teams....
or do you let it ride?
on one hand if your teams ends up winning and you hedge you pretty much shoot yourself in the foot....
whats everybodys take? I guess if you got Holland +800 its a no brainer to hedge no?
Maxing ROI would say let it ride. As a rec gambler I usually hedge a little profit (10%) and keep the rest as a wager.
I still have a Germany future at 6/1 and a Netherlands future at 9/1, think I am just going to let em both ride (I hope they play each other in the final game)

You can hedge whenever you want, the point is to find the best time to do it so that you receive the most value. The bigger question is how much actual money did you put on the future?

The correct answer for a sharp player is not to hedge, unless the bet percentage of bankroll is too high (which a sharp would seldom do), or the hedge bet is +EV by itself.
For a square, just hedge it all, so you are assured of a small win and feel smart.
If you were going to hedge the final game why not just bet a team to make the final instead of win it?
