I'll NEVER bet on a soccer match again for as long as a I live...sorry bookies (and I feel horrible for the people who continue to bet on this nonsense. I HIGHLY DOUBT you could ever make a decent enough profit betting on this $hit game. (thank the good lord this stupid game never made it in the USA...were smarter than that)

fukk NBA, i'd bet soccer over it ANY DAY. It might be crooked sometimes, but the lines aren't nearly as sharp as they are for NBA / NFL, particularly in the lower leagues.
Also, don't use incorrect grammar when representing the U.S. and explaining how smart we are lol.

Re-read his post, it was to finish off a 15 team parlay. Most here would probably make the same play. Just never know with cup games. The bits I saw Barca looked disinterested.

I can't believe I missed this, Malaga were +2.25 @ $2.01 at the closing line. That's a mammoth handicap and Malaga's a good team.
why especially Barcelona? They've won all their games in the league or cup except 2 draws, one against Real MAdrid. Hardly stats that make you weary of betting on them. If you played the asian handicap on every game you'd be in a good position
Game had a lot to do with Barcelona tonking them at home this past weekend. If you were a decent punter you could see a revenge angle/ let down as a real possibility for this game.
Got lucky and was on Over 3 in this match. But I totally agree with you that there's just too many outcomes in soccer for me to be serious about it. I only play it when im bored and theres nothing else on the board at the time.
never bet on cup matches ... especially if they play 2 matches / round ... after this draw at home Barcelona will prob win away next week against Malaga

Incorrect, was first game. Game 2 is next Thursday (24th) @ Malaga. The game this past weekend (13th) was a league game.

Everyone that bets soccer knows you won't get anywhere betting lines lower than 1.80 (-120~-125) even more on parlays!!
Real Sociedad has been undefeated in their last 11 games before this match, beating teams like Valencia away from home by scoring multiple goals. Not to mention giving Madrid a run for their money in a 4-3 defeat. The sport is not a problem here, I understand your frustration, but honestly you probably made a square play which involves every sport in the gambling world.
By the way, if you were gambling live you could've hedged it. Anyone who took Sociadad when Barca was 2-0 up could've been up a couple hundred grand with a few units of $100. No excuses clear your head and return with a plan next time.
he could of also hedged on the Draw in the Malaga/Barcelona game b/c he said it was the last selection in a 15 team parlay with the 1st 14 already having won.
he is just not a bright guy...
